das.Brett Coloured with Cork – Colour Meets Function

das.Brett Coloured with Cork combines the characteristic elastic flex of our balance board with a durable, easy-care finish and two cork strips on the underside. Choose from black, mint, Pompeian red, green and yellow.

This combination is particularly suitable for indoor use and on hard or smooth floors such as parquet, other wooden floors or tiles. The surface can be easily wiped clean, while the cork strips help protect the floor, reduce noise and provide additional grip.

The Difference: Its Elastic Flex

One of the distinctive features of das.Brett is its noticeable flex. Thanks to its special construction from eleven layers of beech veneer, the board is stable while remaining elastic. It gives slightly under load – similar to a snowboard.

Instead of feeling rigid, it has a pleasantly springy feel. At the same time, das.Brett responds to shifts in body weight with subtle movements that constantly need to be balanced. This effect is particularly noticeable for adults and makes balancing especially dynamic.

For Kids & Adults

Kids tend to explore das.Brett intuitively: wobbling, balancing, sitting, lying down or incorporating it into their own movement games. Its simple shape leaves plenty of room for imagination and different ways to move.

Adults can use das.Brett for balance training, coordination, stability exercises, fitness and yoga. At a standing desk, it also adds movement to an otherwise static working position.

In this way, das.Brett can accompany different stages of life – from open-ended movement play in childhood to balance and fitness training for adults.

Coloured Finish – Durable & Easy to Clean

The coloured versions are finished by hand in several stages. Each das.Brett is sanded, coloured and finished in our Leipzig workshop, creating a durable surface while giving every board the character of an individually finished piece.

For the final finish, we use a hard oil with lacquer-like properties. This makes the surface quick and easy to clean with a damp cloth.

That is especially practical when das.Brett is used frequently or by different people – for example in families, daycare centres, schools, classes or other facilities.

Cork Strips – Floor Protection, Grip & Reduced Noise

Two cork strips on the underside help protect hard and sensitive floors from direct contact with the wood while also helping to protect the underside of das.Brett from signs of use.

The cork also reduces noise while rocking and balancing. On smooth surfaces, it provides additional grip and helps reduce slipping – useful for anyone who prefers a little more stability while balancing.

The combination of an easy-care finish and cork underside makes this version particularly suitable for frequently used indoor spaces and facilities.
