Tualoop – A New Way to Throw a Ring

Tualoop is a dynamic ring toss and throwing game for kids and adults. Using two wooden sticks, the ring is accelerated, sent through the air and caught by the person opposite.

But the Tualoop ring can do much more than simply fly: it can glide, be thrown with precision and even bounce across the ground. This opens up a wide range of throwing techniques and game ideas – from simple back-and-forth play to target games, golf variations or games over a net.

How Tualoop Works

Place the ring on the two throwing sticks. Cross the sticks and then quickly pull them apart to accelerate the ring and send it towards the other person.

The basic technique is easy to understand while leaving plenty of room to improve. With practice, direction, height and speed can be controlled more precisely. Using the classic throwing technique, distances of up to 30 metres are possible, with other techniques reaching even further.

Both hands are involved in controlling the sticks, creating a smooth, symmetrical throwing movement that feels very different from conventional one-handed throwing or racket games.

For Kids, Adults & the Whole Family

Tualoop is easy to play with two people and can also be expanded with additional sticks and game ideas for larger groups.

A garden, park or beach quickly becomes a playing field. The open ring gives the wind relatively little surface to catch, making Tualoop well suited to outdoor play.

You can simply throw the ring back and forth or invent your own challenges: How far can you throw it? How many catches can you make in a row? How accurately can you hit a target?

One Ring – Many Ways to Play

Tualoop combines different types of movement in one game. The ring can fly through the air like a flying disc, but it can also bounce and roll across the ground.

This creates many possibilities for active play: target throwing, distance challenges, golf-style games, field games or playing across a net. An illustrated guide with different throwing techniques and game ideas is included in the set.

The idea also has historical roots: predecessors of Tualoop can be found in the French “Jeu des Grâces”, a ring throwing game that became popular in the 19th century.

Compatible with flup

The Tualoop sticks are compatible with flup. If you already own a Tualoop set, simply add a flup fab throwing cloth and use your existing sticks to play flup.

Additional stick pairs can also be used to expand either Tualoop or flup for more people. This creates a flexible system with shared accessories for both games.

Materials & Manufacturing

The Tualoop ring is made from Arboblend®, a material containing components such as wood-based ingredients, natural resins and glucose. The throwing sticks are made from untreated beech wood.

Tualoop is manufactured and assembled in Germany. The beech wood sticks are assembled in Leipzig.

The set also includes a practical cotton carry bag.
