myRoodi – The Flying Disc for Indoor Play

Throwing and catching can be just as much fun indoors: myRoodi – my room disc was designed specifically for short throws and indoor play.

The set contains three lightweight indoor flying discs made from sturdy cardboard. With throwing distances of up to around 5 metres, they are ideal for kids' rooms, living rooms, activity spaces and gyms.

Before the throwing starts, each of the three different designs can also be customized.

Fold, Throw & Catch

Before the first throw, simply fold the outer tabs of the myRoodi disc evenly downwards. This gives the disc the shape it needs for a stable flight.

Then launch it with a spinning movement from the wrist. myRoodi is deliberately designed for short throws of up to around 5 metres and is best caught using both open hands.

The basic technique is easy to learn, while direction, height and throwing control can be refined with practice.

Three Designs to Customize

The set contains three different themes:

• Underwater
• Safari
• Space

The illustrations can be individually colored and customized, turning each flying disc into a personal design.

This combines a creative activity with active throwing and catching.

Throw, Catch & Invent New Games

myRoodi can simply be thrown back and forth between two people – but there are plenty of other ways to play.

The included guide features different game ideas such as target throwing, golf and bowling-style games. Kids can also invent their own rules and challenges: How many catches can you make in a row? Can you hit a target? How far can you set your own “Roodi record”?

The simple concept leaves plenty of room for new ideas.

The set includes an illustrated guide explaining how to prepare, throw and catch myRoodi.

It also contains game ideas and background information about the history of flying discs, giving beginners everything they need to start throwing and catching.

myRoodi has also received the spiel gut award.
