We use cotton sewing thread instead of polyester, the balls are filled with millet and the colours used are solvent-free.Because cork textile also contains adhesives and other components, we deliberately do not describe corkolores as “100% natural”. Every board has its own individual wood grain, structure and subtle variations in colour. The result is not a completely uniform mass-produced item, but a carefully finished piece with its own individual character.The smoothly oiled surface can be lightly sanded and re-oiled when needed. Minor signs of use can therefore be worked on and the surface refreshed even after extended use.Cork Strips – Floor Protection, Grip & Reduced NoiseTwo cork strips on the underside make this version particularly suitable for hard and smooth floors such as parquet, other wooden floors or tiles.The cork protects the floor from direct contact with the wood while also helping to protect the underside of the board. The strips also reduce noise while rocking and balancing.On smooth surfaces they provide additional grip and help reduce slipping.
