das.Brett Coloured – Add Colour to Your Balance

das.Brett Coloured combines the characteristic elastic flex of our balance board with a durable, easy-care finish and a choice of bold colours. It is available in black, mint, Pompeian red, green and yellow.

The coloured finish can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth. This makes the version particularly suitable for families, daycare centres, schools, classes and other facilities – and anywhere das.Brett is used frequently.

The easy-care surface is also practical for outdoor play and balancing: sand, dirt or muddy shoes can simply be wiped off afterwards.

The Difference: Its Elastic Flex

One of the distinctive features of das.Brett is its noticeable flex. Thanks to its special construction from eleven layers of beech veneer, the board is stable while remaining elastic. It gives slightly under load – similar to a snowboard. The current product specifications list eleven veneer layers and a maximum load of 120 kg.

Instead of feeling rigid, it has a pleasantly springy feel. At the same time, das.Brett responds to shifts in body weight with subtle movements that constantly need to be balanced. This effect is particularly noticeable for adults and makes balancing especially dynamic.

For Kids & Adults

Kids tend to explore das.Brett intuitively: wobbling, balancing, sitting, lying down or incorporating it into their own movement games. Its simple shape leaves plenty of room for imagination and different ways to move.

Adults can use das.Brett for balance training, coordination, stability exercises, fitness and yoga. At a standing desk, it also adds movement to an otherwise static working position.

In this way, das.Brett can accompany different stages of life – from open-ended movement play in childhood to balance and fitness training for adults.

Coloured Finish – Durable & Easy to Clean

The coloured versions are finished by hand in several stages. Each das.Brett is sanded, coloured and finished in our Leipzig workshop, creating a durable surface while giving every board the character of an individually finished piece.

For the final finish, we use a hard oil with lacquer-like properties. This makes the surface quick and easy to clean with a damp cloth.

That is particularly practical for frequent use or when the board is shared by different people. It also means outdoor play can get a little messy – dirt can simply be wiped away afterwards.
