Balance training with das.Brett

Combined with das.Brett, der.Wackler creates a particularly challenging balance setup. The movable, rounded base requires continuous adjustments to maintain balance. Depending on the exercise, turns and changes of direction can also be incorporated.

This combination is especially suitable for more experienced users. Beginners should start with simple movements and gradually get used to the additional instability.

For extra grip, we recommend using der.Wackler together with das.Brett with cork strips.

Dynamic sitting

der.Wackler can also be used while sitting. Its curved shape keeps the sitting position slightly dynamic, with small shifts in weight creating continuous movement.

This makes der.Wackler a simple way to add more movement and variety to longer periods of sitting, whether at home or at work.

Open-ended play

For children, der.Wackler is not only a balance trainer but also a versatile play element. It can be used for standing or sitting, as part of an obstacle course or as a building element for their own play ideas.

Together with das.Brett, children can create bridges, seesaws, obstacles or small movement landscapes and discover new ways to incorporate der.Wackler into their play.

Cork and manufacturing

der.Wackler is made from cork in Portugal. Cork is harvested from the bark of the cork oak, which grows back after harvesting. The tree does not need to be cut down to obtain the bark.

The material gives der.Wackler its grippy surface while providing the firmness required for balance, sitting and play applications. Production in Portugal allows us to manufacture within Europe and keep transport distances to our Leipzig location relatively short.
