The technique is simple
Place the beanbag in the cloth and pull the handsticks apart – and it will fly forward. With a little practice, the throws will become farther and more precise. Side throws, backhands, and high arcs are also possible. flup grows with the players – from their first attempts to long, professional throws.
Numerous variations possible
Besides the classic back-and-forth throwing, there are numerous game ideas. Points can be scored on a marked-out field or over a net. Target throws are especially popular – for example, at markers or into buckets. This makes flup a versatile throwing and movement game for all ages.
Made for indoor and outdoor use
Playing naturally – towards a circular economy
The sticks are made from local beechwood, the throwing bag from millet and vegan & plastic-free cork leather. Our "flup fabs" are upcycled from discarded bed linen and dyed with plant-based dyes (including madder).
Made in Germany
flup is created in collaboration with local family businesses and Lebenshilfe Borna. The game combines traditional woodworking from Lower Bavaria and the Ore Mountains with meticulous handcraftsmanship in workshops for people with disabilities and in our Leipzig toy factory.
