Binabo Tutorial: Carnival costumes
03.02.2026
Carnival is just around the corner and creativity knows no bounds when it comes to costumes. Binabo, the flexible construction game, offers a unique way to design your disguise.
Use the colorful chips to create patterns and shapes that can be combined to create impressive costumes.
Whether you want to dress up as a superhero with an individual mask or as a knight with your own knight's armor - with Binabo you can build your own disguise.
The chips are light, stable and can be reconnected again and again, so you can adapt your costume again and again.
For carnival, you can let your creativity run wild with Binabo and create a costume that not only stands out, but also tells a story. It's so easy to make your carnival outfit an eye-catcher and a topic of conversation among the celebrants.
Creative ideas for your costume party
How about a small carnival party where you make your own costumes? Get inspired by our costumes and dress up with Binabo! Here you can get instructions from very simple hair bands to complete knight's armor!
Getting started: bracelets, headbands and hats
Connect the Binabo chips into a chain. Now connect the outer ends and you get a circle! With the number of chips you can vary the size and you can build colorful bracelets and/or hairbands!
Customize this, for example with several rows or a middle bar - this way you get a Binabo hat (see photo).
The next step would be the pointed Binabo magic hat. You can easily build this according to the pattern in the photo or like our school cones.
Masks for your carnival costume
Do you want to build a custom mask for your monster or superhero costume? No problem with Binabo! Get inspired by the masks shown. You can easily build the holder with a chain of Binabo chips - or you can build the mask like a helmet over your entire head!
Tutorial: Crown for your carnival costume
Do you want to go as king or queen? Then let’s get to the Binabo crown!
In this guide we'll show you step by step how to build your own crown! If you want it to be a princess crown, that's no problem, you just make it a little smaller... By the way, a Binabo starter set with 60 pieces is enough for this crown!
Tutorial: Binabo Knight Sword
What would a knight be without a sword?
In this step-by-step guide we will show you how you can build the sword for your knight's armor in no time. The carnival can come! By the way, you need 81 parts for the sword shown, but if you make it a little shorter you can do it with 60 parts!
Inspiration: Knight's armor
A sword is all well and good, but how about a full suit of knight's armor? From a shield to an armored cloak - with Binabo you can build and put together your own knight's armor!
Binabo as a versatile construction game for carnival
